Complaint   >> Posted: Jan 21 ''21 by Heidi in British Columbia, Canada

Monica sent me this morning--a letter stating she was employed by Allen in the UK in 2018 and lead me to believe that she had worked there. The letter included Allens phone number so I called. She did not work for him. As I understand it, she did not communicate for 2 months after she got a visa for the UK and then allegedly couldnt go. Allen explained he cancelled her visa otherwise he would have been liable had she entered the country. As a potential future employer in Canada, I look for 1 honesty integrity, 2 willingness to learn, 3 willingness to work hard. I am a registered nurse myself in the USA and Canada. I am a licensed temporary foreign worker recruiter in the Province of British Columbia which carries fines or imprisonment for contravening the Temporary Foreign Worker Act which include dishonesty. I am also studying to become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. Misleading Canadian immigration IRCC carries with it a 5-year ban from Canada. Had I hired this candidate and she continued with the dishonesty, I would have waited several years for IRCC to process her immigration documents as a caregiver and then found out she was denied for misrepresentation. I have advised Monica of such and my core values 1 honesty integrity, 2 willingness to learn, and 3 willingness to work hard. Currently, during the pandemic I am in Canada but I do work in the USA at times. Posted Jan. 21, 2021
