Dear Family, I liked and loved reading your profiles. Your cute families, children and pets helped me feel more comfortable about my hopes to travel and see a new country. Although I am very american, my family lived and worked in Egypt and so I speak Arabic and understand Egyptian/Islamic culture and manners as well. My mother chose to move us out the hectic city life of Cairo, to the beautiful Western Desert Oasis Valley called Bahariya. We have lived this amazing country/farming lifestyle now for the past 3 years. Here in the oasis we are surrounded by lush greenery of the Date Palm Plantations and just down the street begins the vast Desert and sand dunes. I have really loved living here. I have been on desert safari and met many lovely Swiss people and that is why I chose Switzerland as a preference country. When I turned 18 i married a wonderful local man who owns a large farm, and while living and working with him I have gained some amazing farming and cooking skills. We/he kept and raises Arabian Horses, Cows for milk and meat, goats and sheep, Camels, Geese, ducks, chickens and rabbits! I have many amazing and funny stories to tell about my farming / desert oasis life. We always hosted guests and groups and families and children and I have cooked Egyptian style food for groups of up to 70 people. So...oking for only a few people is quite easy for me. Of course cleaning and household chores is no problem. I LOVE children and pets and Im looking forward to some travel and our cultural exchange. I really want to visit and see new places and new people and making new friends and sharing with a new family.
