WE JUST LOST THE NEXT AUPAIR WE WERE SUPPOSE TO HOST IN MARCH. SHE FUND A JOB IN HER COUNTRY AND CANCELLED HER TRIP IN CANADA SO WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR SOMEONE. PLEASE BE SERIOUS IN THE PROCESS. WE DONT WANT TO WAST OUR TIME.

We receive aupair since 7 years and we really enjoy to sharing free time and our life with our host. Some of them still write us and some come to visit us during their holliday. We think: hosting foreigh people is the best way to open mind our children and teach them english.

We are a simple, warmfull and a friendly family.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE REALLY SERIOUS IN THE PROCESS, who are independant and really want to work.

OUR FAMILY

We are a family of 6.

We are french canadian. YES! there is a french part in Canada. But we are looking for someone who WILL speaking ONLY english at home.

Mélanie (the mother), i am a really curious person who like to be around people and to know them better. I speak french, english and spanish. I am a daycare manager and a preschool educator. We own our daycare in our private house. I take care of 9 children during the day. I love gardering, house renovation and be outside. i like food, good wine, craft, dansce, kickboxing and good life. I am a family person too.

Michael (the father) is a simple father who love his family and can do everything for it. He like spending time with his family and friends to watch (american) football and hochey. He like renovating the house and the garden and do outside activities. He is also a daycare manager and a preschool educator. We have 2 daycares. He is really cool and sociable person. He understand engish but he is still a bite shy to speak a lot so he speak almost only french.

Alyson (11 years old) is a nice little girl. for the moment, she is a bite 'tom boy'. She's going at school from 8h00 to 16h00 everyday of the week. She is doing Katag each monday and she has natation every saturday. She like playing in the forest (playing with insect,frog), Her and Mike like playing video game together. She is also doing natation and is a Hockey goaler in a Pee Wee team. She really sensitive and a human person.

Wendy (8 years old) is a real little princess and like everything who is going with (dress, color, ear ring....). She go at school everyday of the week from 8h00 to 16h00. She is doing gymnastic and cheerleading. She like craft and play outside. She is really easy, curious and openmind.

Brittany (4 years old) she is a caracterial little girl who want to be bigger. She like to be like everyone else and be with us. She is warmfull and funny ( a bite notty..) She is staying at home with us at the nusery 3 days a week and go to an english preschool 2 time a week. She is doing gymnastic once a week. She is understanding english pretty well.

Ryan (3 year old) is the only little boy of the familly. A simple, clever, noty and funny little boy. He is curious, easy and like to explore and speak. He is staying at home with the nusery 3 days/week and goes at the preschool 2 days/week. He like MOVING a lot. He is doing ice skating, gynastic and natation.

We have a 3 years old dog: Rouky..

WE HAVE A daycare (kindergarden) AT HOME: THAT MEAN WE RECEIVE, EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK, KIDS FROM 2 TO 5 YEARS OLD. wE HOPE YOU LIKE TO BE AROUND KIDS!

FAMILY ACTIVITIES We love camping, fishing, renting shack, swiming, be outside, do family activies. In summer we also do kayaking and next winter (Ryan is still too young) we will start skiing all together. Every year we rent a holliday house for a week and everyone love it. We also like to receive friends and do good reception at home. We are member to a home exchange society. We are exchanging our house, with an other family, during holliday. We are planing to do it again and maybe you can come with us.

OUR HOUSE and the area.

Our house got 2 floors (the 1st and the basement). The house have 1 livingroom, 1 kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 playroom and a garden who is next to the forest. We live at the end of the subburb of the beautifull and romantic city of Québec. Around the house is the forest, hills, golf course, ski stations and a big lake (our water reserve). Its a nice landscape. There is a bus stop in from of the house. You can go in the old town in 40 minutes.

YOUR BEDROOM

You will have a charming bedroom with a double bed and a coach. You also have your own bathroom with a shower. In fact, the bathroom is for the daycare but nobody use the shower and its next to your bedroom.

We would like someone who accept to speak ONLY english at home with our children. Like a french family, we think english is important and we are looking for a good english speaker. Of course, you will learn french with time and its good for you but we prefer you speak ONLY english.

We are looking for someone who can help us wiith the house cleaning, cooking and be a daycare assistant few hours/day.

Your principal task will be TO CLEAN the house in general(tidy, vaccuming, clean children bedrooms and playroom, wash dishes,...) because with a lot of kids its hard to keep the house clean. We always finish late when we have to do it so having help its great. With help during the day, we can all relaxe togheter, in the evening with a good cup of coffee. Normally, if you do a GOOD cleaning work without wasting time, you could do all the cleanning in the morning. From 12h30-15h30, its the nap time here (there is a daycay at home) so you can read or do personnal activities IF ALL YOUR WORK IS DONE, OF COURSE. From 15h30 to 17h00, we need you babysit and PLAY with 6 children or less (between 2-5 years old). During that time, we are doing school homwork and making diner. 3 days/week, after your cleaning or during nap time, we would like you cook some meals for the children using children meal cooking book.

You will work around 30 hours a weeks and you have all your week end off and most of your evening. Your scheddull of the week/day can change sometime depending of the parent schedull. If you stay with us 6 months, you will have 1 week holliday with salary and one without. If you stay with us 1 year, we will give you 2 weeks with salary and 2 without.

During your free time, you can do everything you want. There are a lot of tours offer to visit our city or Montreal, Ottawa, Whales tour, New York, Boston Its hope to you...
