Dear au pair,
We are a Belgian - Romanian family with three children living in a green area (Overijse) close to Brussels (near bus stations to Brussels and Leuven). Our children go to a Dutch speaking school, and speak also Romanian and English, and we all want to learn or improve our Spanish.
We are looking for someone who is warm and caring, responsible and that can take initiative, and that can help us manage our spirited family.
We offer you a warm home where you will be treated as a member of our family, participation in our holidays if you want to (like spending Christmas with us in Tenerife and summer holidays in Romania at the Black Sea), a never boring life with our three dynamic children.

We are looking for a lovely and patient au pair with driver’s license that is preferably Romanian, Spanish or Dutch speaking (+ knowledge of English).
We would like you to help us with the following:
- bringing/picking up our two youngest children to and from the school(bus) and taking care of them (playing, feeding, washing, monitoring that they do their schoolwork) until we come home between 18:00 & 20:00. It is a 1,5 km walk to the school, and the bus will pick up my son either at the house or at a location 5 mins walking. Cooking is not required, as they eat at school and I cook most evenings, but preparing sandwiches or breakfast is
Working hours 6:30 - ca. 8:00 & 15:30 - 20:00)
- 'light' tutoring, encouraging language, encouraging the oldest ones to do their homework and helping the youngest with his home work
- 'light' household tasks: tidying toys, cleaning the table after eating, washing clothes (in the washing and drying machine)
- accompanying us on holiday to help with the children (we often go to Tenerife and the Black Sea and would love for you to join us)
- grocery shopping (optional), picking up the children with the car or on foot (depending on whether you have a drivers' license valid in EU)
Working hours will be ca. from 6:30 to 8:00 AM (help prepare the children for school) and from 16:00 to 20:00 PM (pick up kids from school(bus) and stay with them until we are home).
The exact schedule is to be agreed on together on a week-by-week basis depending on our work schedules, Monday through Friday. During the school hours on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur & Frid, you will be free as the children will be at school.
We would also like help for (average of) two nights per week in total for babysitting (when we work late, travel or plan to go out).
We also travel quite regularly, this means that on average 1 night/1 morning per week (sometimes more, sometimes less), you may be home alone with the children.
The main tasks are the care for the children. We look for a patient girl who loves children, even when they can sometimes be difficult.
We offer:

- Au pair contract according to Belgian law
