| Dear Family,
My name is Emily and I am a trustworthy, fun, Christian person who loves being an Au Pair.
I will finish my degree in journalism next June (2010) so I am looking for a great family in Europe in which to be an au pair for.
In 2007 I was an au pair for 3 children in Hillerod, Denmark and loved it. Since then I have worked for families in New Zealand and have experince as a mothers help in Scotland.
I love Europe and in particular Scandinavia. I feel I would be a wonderful addition to your family. I am excellent at entertaining children and having fun with them while at the same time being responsible.
I have no problem doing housework or cooking and occationally babysitting.
I come from a large family with four kids and lots of pets so I am a very energetic and lively person who loves the outdoors and playing sports. I used to ride horses so have lots of experience with them too.
I am a very outgoing, confident and adaptable person and would appreciate the opportunity of working for your family. Big families, little families, city or country, it doesn't bother me. My main motivation for being an Au pair is to get to know a great family.
I have been babysitting children of all ages for 5 years now. I used to volunteer at a creche and recently ran a holiday programme for children where I taught them sports skills. I have worked in Australia on an Island where I occationally worked at the island kindy and at the island childminding facility. Here I would take groups of children on outings eg fishing and generally entertain them. I was a regular babysitter on the island for many families and would babysit babies through to pre-teens. The children I au paired for in Denmark were 7, 12, and 13 and I did everyday things with them such as picking up from school, outings, cooking and cleaning.
I have done a lot of travelling through Europe and Asia. I have travelled around the Himalayers and actually taught the children a lesson at a remote school that Sir Edmond Hilary established. I also ventured on a trip to Thailand where we went around schools and orphanages and shared our stories and played with the children.
I look forward to meeting you.
Yours Sincerely,
Emily |
