Au Pair/Nanny job description

Our busy family with 3 young children (5yrs, 2.5yrs and 2 months old) needs an Au pair who is friendly, caring, patient and flexible with a positive attitude. You will need to support the mother with looking after 1 or 2 of the children at a time. Tasks would include playing at home or in a park, picking up the children from school or creche and taking them to after school activities with the bakfiets, preparing simple childrens meals, doing simple domestic activities such as hanging up washing, tidying up and some shopping if needed. Must speak English and be willing to learn or understand some dutch. We can come to an arrangement about the working hours but generally we need support between 3 - 7pm from Monday to Friday with one evening babysitting too.

Dear Au Pair We are a young English/Dutch bilingual family living in the centre of Amsterdam only 2 minutes walk away from the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Amsterdam is a great place for international families and young individuals alike with lots to see and do. We would love you to experience it with us. We love spending time in the parks, going to the beach and enjoying the restaurants in the area. Our three children are all happy, fun loving and energetic. Emma goes to school 3 days till 3.15pm and 2 days till 12.30pm then has gym classes, tennis and swimming lessons after school. Beau goes to a creche 4 half days a weeks and loves the parks, his gym lessons and is mad about football. Finally, Samuel is just a contented and happy baby at home.
