Au Pair's Message to Families

To my dear host family, First of all, I would like to greet you a pleasant day upon reading my letter. I hope to share a simple smile on your faces upon knowing me in this letter. I am Florence , you can call me by my name Florence or Wence, as my nick name. I am 20 yeard old, single, from Philippines and a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. I am the only child or daughter in my family, but my mother decided to adopt a child, though we did not let it on the legal way, we still treat him as a part of our family. My adopted brother's name is Mark, he was still four years old when we decided to take good care of him. I always see to it that he is okay by letting know what are his needs. I stood by him as he grows and become his big sister. Though I don't have any picture together with him, I would still include him in my letter as part of our family. Now, he is already eleven years old and currently studying. During my growing up years, I became a baby sitter of my nephew and my niece which I included in this letter. The part where I hold a baby was taken back 6 years ago during our family's summer vacation. That was my cousin's son. They left him because nobody will take care of him since my cousin and his wife is working. I love to take care of my nephew because he was sweet and adorable. The other picture taken was a picture of my family 5 years ago. Together with me is my father and my mother who was holding my niece and I'm on a ble shirt. Same story with my nephew, my niece was left with us when her parents are working. They used to leave my nephews and nieces with us because they know we will never fail them because I love seeing my niece with me and take good care of them. I graduated last October 2008 as an Accountancy student and now I am having a part-time work as a bookkeeper on somebody whom my father knows. It was not actually on a regular basis because that would depend upon the schedule my boss gave to the clients for me to talk to. Though I have a very good employer, my salary cannot afford the cost of living my family has right now. We belong to a middle clan, in which we still can afford to eat as much as three times a day. I decided to aplly working abroad for financial reasons, I feel responsible for my family and I want to help them especially my parents. I know I'd be working with good people whom I would also treat as my second family and no doubts that I have that you are going to love me as my family here do. I hope to know you soon and also expecting to work with you soon. By the way, Im a very jolly person, outspoken, compassionate and very responsible with my work.
