| Dear Family,
I am a mature, honest, reliable, caring, creative, 36 year old woman who would love to assist you in caring for your children.
Although the majority of my work experience for the last 13 years has been in the retail/ customer service industry, my first love has always been working with children & teens. In addition to working for the last 16 years I have volunteered in all area's of children's & youth ministry for various churches or community programs. I have been the reliable baby sitter & the gal Friday to families with hectic schedules.
I've been the big sister, the adopted "aunt", and a positive role model and made a difference in the lives of many children & families. I've been there to help families give the children a sense of normalcy while making major transitions like moves overseas, welcoming new babies & going on after the death of a loved one.
From 2003-2005 I moved to Alabama for the purpose of accepting a volunteer position as youth & children's minister in a low income community. This position was as rewarding as it was challenging.
For the last 2 years I have worked as nanny with very busy, wealthy family. I have international and domestic travel experience and a valid passport and drivers license. I have plans to return to school to get a teaching or counseling degree.
I've been told I possess many of qualities & skills that make a nanny successful. I'm patient, kind understanding & know how to keep good & consistent boundaries with children. I know how to plan & cook healthy meals. I've planned small & large events for children as well as adults. I'm creative resourceful & and a natural teacher. I'm level headed in a crisis and have the common sense & ability to think on my feet that comes with age & experience.
Thank you for taking the time to review my application & good luck in your search for the right nanny for your family.
