Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Host Family My name is Rósa María and I am an outgoing, fun, caring girl who loves kids. I have a lot of experience with kids. I worked in a kindergarten for 3 ½ years, mostly with 18 months - 3 year olds. For 2 summers ’06 and ’07 I was an au-pair here in Iceland, but in the countryside. There I lived with a family and babysat they’re 2 great daughters during the day time. I have also been a babysitter since I was 14 years old, and now sometimes I babysit for parents that have to go away for business errands out of the country for a few days. I would love to be a part of a family for a year or two. I am well ORGANIZED , a quick learner and FLEXIBLE with work hours. I would love to help around the house. As far as house cleaning, I only clean the kids rooms, do the kids laundry, load the dishwasher and clean kitchen for dinner and prep for dinner if necessary. Currently I am in distance learning from a school here in Iceland. That gives me the chance to study for graduation from anywhere in the world. I just have to have a library or a school nearby so that I can take my final tests each semester under supervision. I would like a family that understands that I do need some time every week to study , finish homework assignments and take tests. I have some hobbies, I love music and singing. For 4 years on/off I have been dancing, hip hop and funky/jazz ballet. I love animals, especially dogs, and also I love horseback riding.
