Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear family, since I was a little girl I have dreamed of becoming an Au Pair. Summer 2009 will be my time and the dream comes true, maybe you will be the family where I find a second home? If you pick me your house will be full of energy as I'm always in action. After babysitting in different families I know exactly how to keep your children busy - going to the playground, doing craftworks or just talking about something they like are some of the things I would love to do with them. Watching TV or playing on the computer are also an option for me, but I think that there are a few better ways to spend spare time. :-) Some people think that I'm not like all the other young people. I do not drink and I'm a strict non-smoker. Most girls my age go partying every weekend but that's definitely not me. On weekends I usually meet my friends to go to the movies or a nice cafè. As I'm really into the babysitting business I spend most of my weekends at the places of one of my babysitting families. If I have free time I watch movies with friends or just hang out with my family. Music is also very important to me, as well as taking pictures. :-) My friends say that I'm a person who has an open heart for everyone, maybe that's one of the reasons why I share a close relationship with my babysitting kids. Frederik (8) for example is an only child that loves Pokemon and magic. So we always talk about the Pokemons he has caught and what he can do with them. As he is a little magician he always shows me his magic tricks. His parents are very busy so I usually pick him up from school and take him to his football training. Simon (5) has two older brothers but they don't have time to play with him, that's the reason why I pick him up from kindergarten once a week. At home we do some craftworks and play with his knights castle - you have to know that he is the king. ;-) Maximilian & Florian are 3 year old twins who I have supervised since their birth. They are always in action and so we spend most of the time on the playground. If you want me to drive your children to playdates or any other activity you don't have to worried as I have my driving license for 3 years and drove over 35000 miles. I'm used to driving in city centres as well as high mountains. Spending some time abroad is an awesome chance to learn more about other cultures and so Au Pair programme is the best thing I can do as I love children and want to discover another culture. If you choose me as your next Au Pair you won't be disappointed as I'm an easy going person who loves children and is looking forward to becoming part of another family. Your's Teresa
