Au Pair's Message to Families

I am a Japanese girl living in Arlington, VA and looking for next family. I mean I want to change my host family ASAP. I belong to AuPair Care. I already have exparienced as an aupair for 7 months. I take care of 3 kids ( boy and girl twins/18m, a boy/5y) I like to learn foreign cultures. It's very intersting for me, and I think to study language is to study cultures. So I want to learn many languages. I will study French from this fall in U.S. the reason to be an au pair: I worked in Juku in Japan. Do you know Juku? It is a supplementary private school which is for Japanese students and pupils. Most of the Japanese children go to Juku after their school for enter exam to go to next school.I was a teacher of Juku, and I am very interested in foreign educational system. So I became an au pair. I tought math, Japanese and English grammer in Juku. So I met many children every day, and I'll be able to help your kids' study! If you need, I also may teach swimming and Ikebana (Japanese flower arrengement), too. child care experiences: I take care of 3 kids now as an au pair. They are a 4-year-boy and 1-yaer-boy & girl twin. I experienced another child care to be an aupair before leaving Japan. I have taken care of a girl who is my friend's daughter for about 50 hours. We played the piano, drawing, singing and so on together. She is very cute and nice, so we had very good time!! And I have also helped one more my friend who has a five-month-baby for 200 hours. In my opinion, to care children is not to teach something but to learn everything with them. I was taught that by my students and all children I have ever met. So if I stay your home, I would like to grow with you and your children!! smoking: Actually I was a smoker, but I stopped smoking after I came hare. car: I drove wagon (left-hand, right lane) in Japan, I drive wagon and sedan (right-hand, left lane) in U.S. I can drive only automatic car.
