| Dear Family, I am young, vibrant, fun-loving girl who loves sharing myself with others. I am very experienced in childcare and I have always loved children and anything to do with them. I have been taking care of children ever since I can remember. I have 2 younger brothers and a sister I have grown up taking care of and two other children I have taken care of for over 10 years who I would consider family as well. I have always loved tending to children and I have had a lot of experience. I especially love taking care of infants and toddlers. I have always been so interested in and absolutely loved taking care of babies. I am a certified nursing assistant (CNA). I worked at an assisted living facility for 2 years and I loved it. There is no greater feeling of satisfaction and happiness I have ever experienced than what I get when I am serving others. Knowing that I made someone's day just a little bit better is far better of a feeling than receiving any money or prize. I am also a certified lifeguard and I teach swimming lessons to all ages every summer at the local country club and a private pool. I love it! Once again I love working with others and teaching children, and there is so much satisfaction I receive when I witness improvement, making me realize I have made a difference and accomplished my goal. I love working with children and there is nothing more satisfying to me than making a difference for the better in someone else's life. I love traveling, learning new things and having new experiences. This past summer I moved to Africa for a few months and spent my time in a poor, very poor little village in Ghana. I spent 90% of my time taking care of, teaching and playing with the children from that village. I have never loved something more than all my time and experiences i had there. The feeling of knowing I have made a difference in just one child's life for the better is by far the most satisfying warm feeling. Its amazing that.. just even holding them and letting them know someone loves them and cares about them, their faces light up and become SO alive. Its amazing to see how they live..ey are so so poor. I thought I could imagine the worst of the worst conditions before I left to go there...but when I actually got there and saw and lived the life they live...s 1000 times worse than what i could have ever imagined. They have Nothing, yet they are the happiest people i have ever seen in my life. It makes me very emotional, i have seen so many miracles take place this has changed my life. I am so thankful for this experience i had and plan on doing it again and again someday. I am currently trying to raise money to send to the orphanage which is a small cement building with nothing inside except flea infested mattresses. I apologize for elaborating so much, but this is so close to my heart..d has changed my life and inspired me and I love sharing my experiences. So i apologize.
I love children and anything to do with them. I am a very responsible, hard-worker, and I am very well rounded and outgoing. I have been very involved in sports all of my life and I love sharing my talents with others. Growing up in my home we were expected to help out with everything. Every week we had chores to complete and I swear I always was the kid who had to clean the toilets every week. But I am glad my mom disciplined us like that because I have learned a lot of things that have helped me later on in my life. Especially when I moved out on my own to go to school in Hawaii. I just would like you to know that I feel that I am a smart, outgoing, responsible, respectful, loving person who absolutely ADORES children. I would love to have the opportunity to become a part of your family and become a good example/role model for your children to look up to and have a good time with and also learn from. I am a very spiritual person and I keep very high moral standards and goals. Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little about me! If you would like to know more about me or have any questions, feel free to ask! Sincerely, Kandis |
