Au Pair/Nanny job description

Single mother of four energetic, imaginative children seeks dynamic and responsible au pair to help supervise children as well as performing light domestic duties. The successful applicant will be responsible for: laundry keeping the kitchen tidy some meal preparation/shopping helping the children to keep their toys and bedrooms organized combined after school care and bedtime with me occasionally walking the older children to and from school care of the baby while I am at work 2 days per week until January 2009 (he starts creche after this time) supervision of the children in our pool and at the beach evening babysitting

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are a fun and loving family of three boys and one girl. I am a doctor and work 2-3 days a week but am very involved with the care of my children. The three elder children attend a private school/kindergarten 10minutes walk from our home. We live in a relatively large house and you will have your own room and bathroom that opens onto the garden and our pool. We also have a beach house that we will be spending time at over the school holidays. The children love young adults and are very enthusiastic about having an Au Pair! Whilst the children's father no longer lives with us we are all on very good terms and he visits two evenings per week plus every weekend. I try hard to promote values of kindness, honesty and 'doing your best' so will be looking for an Au Pair who has these qualities. We are all really looking forward to welcoming the right Au Pair in to our home and would all do our best to make this a happy stay for you. We have stayed great friends with our old nanny (who has now joined the police force) and you are welcome to contact her and our current babysitter for more details about what we would be like to work for.
