Au Pair job description

The tasks needed from our au pair are: 7-8 AM Make breakfast, pack lunches for the boys, and make sure they get on their school bus 3:00 PM Activities with the boys when they return from school, and begin dinner preparation. Also needed are basic housecleaning throughout the week and laundry, estimated at about 10-15 hours. We also need 1-2 evenings/week of babysitting. Time during the day to take language classes!

Dear Au Pair: We are a fun, active family seeking a female, non-smoking au pair (Canadian) for before and after school care, housekeeping, and meal preparation. We have two boys who are 5 and 11 years old. We all can speak both French and English, and can help you learn a second language. There is also time during the day when the kids are at school to take language classes! We live in a fabulous neighbourhood in Vancouver close to a forest, a library, a movie theatre, etc. about 20 minutes drive to downtown, 10 minute drive to the beach. During the winter, we drive up the mountain for skiing every weekend, and you can some along for the ride! If you are a positive person who loves to play with kids, can be self-motivated to keep a house clean, and knows how to cook healthy food, you may be the au pair for us.
