Nanny's Message to Families

hi my name is mercedes i am CPR certified, and graduated from uc santa cruz in 2007 and just moved back to santa cruz in late aug. this last summer i worked at Phillips Recreation Camp as a counselor for 12 to 30 children, ages 4-13. before that i worked for 6 months for a great family, two boys (7 and 5) and one girl (2). i worked at a private liscenced day care for two years in santa cruz prior to moving to sd, which i have great references from. i have also been a summer camp counselor and assistant since i was 13. i recently stayed with my friend to help take care of her 15 month old while her husband was away. i am working on getting my teaching credential and become a teacher, as well as being currently enrolled in emt classes. i love kids and have always been a natural at it. im very fun and love playing sports, including volleyball, softball, basketball, and rugby, and just being outside. my mom is a teacher so i have an infinite number of arts and crafts projects at hand. i have my drivers license, a clean driving history, and my own reliable 4runner. thanks for your time and hope to hear from you soon. ;-D -mercedes
