Au Pair/Nanny job description

PLEASE NOTICE THIS: IF YOU COME FROM A COUNTRY THAT IS NOT MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN UNION YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE OLDER THAN 24 YEARS IN THE TIME YOU ARE ASKING FOR THE VISA! THIS IS WHAT THE GERMAN LAW SAYS!!! Most of the time the Au-Pair should spend with our kids. We want a trustful, honest Au-Pair that takes good care of our children and help a little with light housework. Also you should be able to cook little meals and you must have a driverslicense. The aupair should be prepared to work from 7:00am to 9:00am and again later in the afternoon for five days per week and some weekend time as well. You will have a lot of time for your own so dont be scared when you hear "4 Children" :-))) Our kids have a very good behavior! Since our kids are very active you need to be active too. We would not want you to "park" our kids in front of tv or computer, but play with them.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We would want you here as a new family member, not as another child! We would love you to teach our kids something about you and your culture- maybe teach them your language. In the same time we would love to show you our culture, teach you our language and make sure you have a good time in Germany. By time you would join our family, our kids will be 13, 9, 9 and 6 so they are not little, little anymore.... We have four loving children and we want you to take good care of them, while we have to go to work or something else. We would love it if you teach us about your culture or if you show us how to cook some meals out of your country. It is very important that you dont feel like an employee here, but in the same way you need to feel responsible for this job!! So, only contact us if you are sure, that you dont change your mind after a short time period!!!! We believe, that talking about problems is the best way to solve them. And we hope you do too.
