Nanny's Message to Families

Dear Host Family, Good day! Hi! My name is Che and I graduated from St Augustine School of Nursing as Professional Caregiver and finished my Bachelor's Degree course in Business Administration major in Management at Colegio de San Juan de Letran Manila. I am honest, hardworking, fast learner and very friendly. And for my 8 year stay to various jobs I got involved with, it made me a better person and contributed for me to become orderly, systematic and punctual type of a person. I value my time at work and my relationship with my co-workers. I always make it a point to prioritize tasks. During my internship at East Avenue Medical Hospital, Amisola Maternity Hospital, Tala Leprosy Hospital and Jose Reyes Medical Hospital where I handled 15-20 patients with different health conditions. I was privileged enough to help these patients with their needs by providing assistance with their bathing, dressing, feeding, oral hygiene and grooming to name a few. I also experienced clinical rotation in the hospital and was likewise exposed to pediatrics, surgery, medicine wards and ICU. My day starts with daily bed making, monitoring vital signs, giving medicines and giving insulin shots for diabetic patients. I'm currently working as Customer Service Associate in a multinational company that made me develop my Fluency in English Langauage. Since I started doing part time jobs as a Private Duty Caregiver to Mr. Family his son age 8 is became an opportunity for me to improve my cooking and tutoring skills. We also play and exercise together. I also do light household chores like dusting, mapping, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning, washing, storytelling, teaching and driving. I've learned that the smile of the children will take your breath away. They are so easy to please! Every weekends I brought my nephews ages 1, 4, 5, 6 to a zoo, museum, park and Ice cream parlor. It's heartwarming to be able to deliver such simple pleasures and you'll find that child's joy is infectious! They really are the indispensable fraction of my whole being! If I have time I love reading books and magazines, listening to music, internet surfing, watching movies, hiking, dancing, playing with my nephews, going to the gym, cooking and chilling out with friends.
