Au Pair/Nanny job description

We require a live out au pair to look after our two children age 1 and 3. We require someone who will be very loving towards our children, and who is also flexible and willing to help with housework in the home. We do have a room available and would accept a live in au pair if we find the right person. Ideally our au pair will already be living in London.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

A loving, energetic and easy going Nanny/Housekeeper is required for full time live out work with a Christian family in South East London. We have two children who need a Nanny, who are aged 20 months and 3 years. The 3 year old goes to Nursery school 4 days a week while the baby is cared for at home. We also have an 8 year old niece who spends time with us and who would also need to be cared for occasionally. General Childcare duties involve: •Getting children ready in the morning and taking them to and from school. •Taking them to playgroups and on outings during the day or during holidays as required. •Playing with them and reading stories with them to teach and entertain them. •Preparing meals for the children and attending to their general welfare. General Household duties involve: •Keeping the lounge, kitchen and bathroom areas tidy, along with children's rooms. •Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen tidy. •Ironing sheets, children’s clothes and family items as requested. •Assisting with miscellaneous tasks as requested. We are paying £800/600 per month, depending on whether you is live in or live out, some of which should be used for a bus pass or towards transport costs. We have a 17 year old son, and we will not usually require babysitting but may request babysitting for up to two evenings a week. As we are a Christian family we would ideally like to have a practising Christian as a Nanny, however we would welcome applications from anyone who feels that they will be a good match for our family.
