| Je suis bilingue (anglais-francais); j'ai grandi en France (le lycee a clermont-ferrand)... and I spent many years after that in France. I studied French history and art history at the Universite Francois Rabelais in Tours, worked as an English teacher in Lille, and as a staff member at a family camp in Bourg d'Oisans. I have worked with children for 12 years.
I consider France to be my home and I am looking forward to coming back as an au pair; I love children, I was an assistant teacher in a French school (in the US) for the Grande Section (kindergarten) class (20 students, mainly boys). I also cared for children while living in France, and worked as a mentor for inner-city children in the US for several years. I have tutored children in both English and French.
I love to paint, draw, cook, sing, read, play the piano, write music, and learn. I am very serious but I have a great sense of humor and I LOVE to play! I love nature, enjoy the outdoors but also enjoy 'indoor' activities like reading together and studying music. I am very patient, I am good with kids who need special attention, I can handle high-energy or calm dispositions... and I am dedicated. I get along very well with all different kinds of children and I love being around them and helping them grow. I have lived in many places around the world and am very flexible. I integrate easily in different households and appreciate different ways of living.
I would like to be a part of your family, to contribute to your quality of life; I would love to take care of your kids and to be of service in any way that makes your life more pleasant and less stressful. Please note that I am willing and eager to relocate as soon as possible, and as quickly as I can to meet your needs.
