Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello dear families =D Let me tell you a couple of things about me... I’m a very easygoing, mature, hard working, independent, open-minded person and I enjoy life a lot. I enjoy the simple things of life like being with people I love, learning, lay down on the grass in a summer night or just observe the nature and animals and see how everything has it places in the world and I love to show kids how they can also appreciate this kind of things in life. I know when I have to be serious and responsible but I also know to play like a big kid and run around playing some game or lay down on the grass with the kids. I love outdoor activities, to swim in the summer, travel to the mountains in the winter, I love art and music, reading, learning and I also love animals and the nature. I have experience taking care of kids (around 3 years). I took care of my niece for more than 2 years, I also took care of a 2 year old girl for 6 months and I've been taking care of a 3 years old girl and a 10 years old boy in the U.S. as an au pair since january/2008. I was a practical nurse in Brazil and before coming to america I worked in a small E.R for 7 months. There I used to take care of a lot of kids every single day and I loved the smiles, hugs and kisses they gave me. I’m vegan, but I can cook my own meals, so this is not a problem. I like to have a healthy lifestyle. I’m expecting to find an open-minded, easy going, open to conversation family that enjoys life too.
