Nanny job description

Full time, QUALIFIED or EXPERIENCED (3+years in age range 0-3years old) Nanny needed by a top class but relaxed and informal family with a 2.5 y/old boy and newborn due in June 2009 in Athens, Greece. Nanny MUST BE ENGLISH NATIVE SPEAKER and able to travel with family to EU Countries and the Greek islands. All the family (and our toddler) is bilingual English/Greek. Please, we will not accept someone just fluent in English. It is very important to us that you have a good education, at least 2-3 years experience with toddlers and babies OF THIS AGE GROUP (0-3years old), and love your work. The Nanny must be a good swimmer. Housekeeper/Nanny also employed full time, thus Nanny required to do light housework (nursery duties).

Family's Message to Nannies

Athens-Parthenon and Greek islands! Dear Nanny, we are a young loving, caring family in need of a new member. We are a mum (lawyer mid 30ies), dad (Mech. engineer late 40ies), a beautiful, very cheerful and well mannered toddler 2.5y/old, a newborn expected in June 2009 and our housekeeper/Nanny (member of the family 3+years). We share our time living between the centre of Athens and the beach area of Athens. The flat in the centre is above best shopping area with all designer boutiques, historic center neighborhood, next to Parliament, Acropolis, underground and central park. The flat at the beach is at one of the best European suburbs, surrounded by parks and 3 beaches that are only 100m away. Nanny will have her own bedroom with ac, tv, wireless internet and shared bathroom with the kids. Salary will be agreed according to qualifications and experience. Working hours will be arranged with the nanny but will surely be at least 45 hours per week plus 3 babysittings/pw. Two-three consecutive days off can be arranged for you to go "island hoping" (travel to a neighboring island i.e. Santorini, Mykonos) or sightseeing since it is an opportunity for you to see other places as well. Paid vaccation will be maximun 2+2weeks per annum. The most importand thing to us is to have someone to care for our kids, who is EXPERIENCED, reliable, responsible, loving, caring, fun, playfull, energetic and who 'loves talking'.
