Au Pair/Nanny job description

We live on beautiful Honeoye Lake in upstate western NY about 45 minutes south of Rochester. Our boys are 5 years, 3 years and 9 months old. The two older boys are both very energetic. We are looking for someone to be available to us Monday - Friday and maybe some other miscellaneous times too. Ultimately, we need someone who is flexible however, hours and times are all negotiable. We prefer someone who has experience with children and can take initiative to actively engage them in all sorts of activities. There are many stimulating things to do around here and there are lots of incredible areas to explore where we live. Playing outside is very important to us. We need someone that is motivated, smart, independent and enjoys both working with our kids and helping us keep our house running smoothly.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

My husband and I both enjoy spending time with our kids. We need an extra set of hands and a compassionate, caring person to "pick up the slack" when we are not able to. We are an easy going family and are looking for someone who can go with the flow and can take initiative to handle things without being asked. In addition to caring for our children we need help with some household chores pertaining to the boys. The ideal candidate would like to cook and help prepare family meals. I speak Spanish and would love for my children to know the language as well, so Spanish speakers are welcome! We have an incredible set up here and are looking for the perfect fit. We have cats.
