Au Pair job description

Single mum with high profile job needs au pair to help look after her two adorable girls 8 and 11 years. Driving is required as thier school is 20 minutes from our house. A car will be provided. Weekends and bank holidays will be time off. On school days you will be required to drive the girls to school after that the morning is yours. If you wish to attend a class to learn French in the mornings I am willing to pay for one. The dog will need to be walked in the afternoon and some housework will be required but not ironing. The girls will then need to be picked up from school,helped with their homework until I get home from work. Occasional babysitting will be required. During school holidays you will be required to look after the girls during the whole day and/or take them to courses. The au pair will be required to travel between France and Switzerland as the girls attend certain classes in Geneva.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Dear Au Pair, We are an all girl Swiss/British family living in a French village close to the border with Switzerland. We benefit from the countryside and access to the ski slopes and the night life and international culture of Geneva (25 minutes drive away). We live in a 5 bedroomed house where you would have your own room with en-suite shower room. We love horse riding, hiking, snowshoeing and skiing and all activities which gets us out into the fresh air. We are looking for an responsable, reliable au pair who can become a part of our family. If you like the sound of our life and would like to experience the French life we would love to hear from you. I am looking for someone who can start in the second half of May 2009 as my current au pair leaves at the beginning of June 2009.
