Dear Host Family’s Dad and Mom, How are you doing? I am very glad to write this letter to introduce myself and my hometown to you. My name is Jiajia , you can call me Candy. I am 25 years old, and come from China. I have graduate from Qingdao Harbor Vocational & Technical College. Now I am working in a foreign language school. I live in Qingdao city of China that picturesque red-tiled roofs nestled between green hills and blue sea. The mild climate, the bathing beach, and Mount Lao make Qingdao a popular health and holiday resort, particularly in summer time when visitors come here in droves for sightseeing and escaping the heat. Qingdao is also an industrial city and a major foreign trade port. Its mineral water, wine, and excellent Tsingdao Beer are world-famous. Among the local arts and crafts, shell carvings are especially popular with tourists. Now, Qingdao will hold 2008 Olympic Regatta; welcome your family comes to Qingdao! I would like to become your good guide. I think you will love my hometown-Qingdao, a beautiful city. I have a warm and fragrant family, my Mom, my Dad, and I. we live together and have breakfast and dinner together everyday. My father is an engineer of medical company. He is a kindhearted man to everyone. He taught me how to be an honest and responsible person. My mother is a teacher of kindergarten. She is a typical Chinese mother. She is gentle and soft, nice and easy-going, and I genetic her perfect cooking technique and goodness. She has been giving all her love to our family. My parents give the most and good important education to me. I love my family very much. I am an administrative assistant of foreign language school when I graduated from college till now, the responsible propaganda plan, the advertisement design and the market propaganda work. Arrange primary and middle school student’s daily life during training camp (about 4months per year in holiday), keep good coordination between the student and school. I really love my job and enjoy staying with students. It encourages me study hard. I will become more cognizant and independent. Besides, on my holidays or part time, I have been a community service in . Cooperate with teachers to take care autism children when class over, create opportunities to contact and play games with them , let them feel others friendly help them go out the psychological barriers and coming our family of society ep the kindergarten’s health environment clean, and help teachers to make the special teaching aid, and organize autism children play together or go to picnic to feel the nature, also remove mentality obstacle for autism children’s parents, and teach them t realize the importance for autism children’s education systematically in the school. I got many children and childhood education from all of these experiences. I know how to deal with children especially the autism children and they like me as well. I believe it is very useful to take good care of my host brother or sister. Meanwhile, I am an easy-going girl with a loving heat, and I am dependable, responsible, flexible and hard- working. At free time I enjoy climbing, do yoga and listening music. I like to cook some delicious Chinese or Korea foods to my family. Expect can cook Chinese food for your family.
