Are children your passion? Are you very happy, organized, open and flexible? We are looking for a wonderful Au Pair who is someone who wants to or has studied to be a teacher. This fun Las Vegas experienced English and French speaking host family seeks sunny, happy, outgoing and organized young woman preferably German or Austrian to become our live-in au pair and a big part of our family. We are looking for a enthusiastic and very responsible young woman, between 21 and 26 years of age ONLY to care for our children. Our son is 5 years old and our daughter is 3 1/2. We are open to someone who can only stay 6 months and who already has a visa and WE ARE WILLING TO SPONSOR A UNIVERSITY STUDENT in the future. We are experienced host parents and have had au pairs for over 3 years. We hope this bright and cheerful person will begin sometime by the end of November 2008 early December the latest. IF you are already in the USA super!!! We would love to meet you before hand!

Family's Message to Au Pairs

We are especially interested in someone who is already in the USA or who has their tourist visa and is available yesterday. We also hope you are a dog person. We live in an exciting city with great opportunities to meet people from all over the world. Las Vegas is a great town with lots to do. You must have an international drivers license. We only want an experienced, confident driver who has been driving often for years! We have two wonderful children, our son is 5 and our daughter will is 3 1/2 years old. They like to read, do arts and crafts, and our son especially loves movies. His present favorites are anything Power Rangers and SpongeBob. Our daughter is mad for Mickey's Playhouse. We speak French pretty well, but are more interested in someone who is happy, hardworking, loving and appreciates life. Most of all we want our au pair to be a patient, and enthusiastic, upbeat, organized, kind, energetic individual who loves children and to play, play, play. I need someone self motivated and who takes initiatve. You are somewhat an assistant to me with the childcare. I really depend on her to be organized and responsible. I hope you have worked with children in this age before and understand how they are and what is important to them. We live in a fun, medium sized city that is open all night and your hours would allow you to experience it and go to school if you wanted. You would live in a beautiful part of Las Vegas called Summerlin. You can find the Summerlin website on the internet and see all the great things to do here. We live at the base of the Red Rock Canyon National Preserve which has beautiful rock climbing, hiking and horseback riding trails, as well as magnificent sunsets. I ride my bicycle into the canyon and it is beautiful. There is a website for this as well. We live within a 6 hour drive of the Grand Canyon. If you like to ski, Lake Tahoe is about 8 hours, 3 hours to Brian Head, Utah or our local skiing is 40 minutes away on Mt. Charleston. We can introduce you to the many other au pairs in town that we know and you will meet some great people. It is important that the au pair has a great sense of humor because we like to laugh and want someone who 'gets the jokes". We would also be interested in sponsoring our au pair for University if we have a great relationship and get to know each other.
