Nanny's Message to Families

My name is Juliana and I am 29 years old. I have five years experience of taking care of children in various ages since nursery age and up. I hope to find a lovely and friendly family to work for and take care of their children. I am very responsible, friendly and flexible. I love children and I enjoy the time I am with them. The most important for me is that they are happy and feel loved. I am looking forward a part time live in or out position. I am a student at Kean University (Union County in NJ) for Master's in Accounting and my classes starts at 5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. I am available to work from 11am until 4:30pm on days I have classes, and Tuesday and Friday from 11am until the family needs. I can also work on weekends as the family requires. At my last job I was taking care of two very happy and active boys who were 2 years old. My tasks were: playing with the children, walking them outside, reading, feeding, bathing, put them for nap, making their laundry. I also used to teach them the alphabet, colors, parts of the body, among others. It was a way to stimulate their creativity. At another job I took care of three girls who were 6 months, 1 and 4 years old. I started the day giving breakfast to the children and later I used to walk them to the park everyday to play outside; they loved swinging, sliding, running and more. At home I used to give them lunch, put them for nap, read books and listen to music. I was also responsible for making their laundry, cleaning up the playroom and keep the rooms tidy. I also had a great experience as an AuPair at Atlanta, GA in 2005 taking care of two beautiful girls. My host family is very good to me and we are still in touch. Nowadays, the kids are 7 and 5 years old and I can't wait go visiting them. In my free time I like watching movies, using the computer, reading, visiting my friends and specially traveling. I love to practice sports because it is healthy and it helps to relax. I also am available to be an assistant for elderly. I believe that talking with experienced people is a great way to guide my life. I love having a good conversation as well as sharing different points of view. I am very caring and warm-heart.
