Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello! I am a nineteen-year-old girl named Beate. I would descibe myself as reliable, caring and active. Of course I love children and love to take care of them. Here is some information about me: Even though I'm just 19 I think I've done a lot. I moved away from my parents when I was 16 just to go a special handball high school in a town named Motala. It's located about 50 km from where I grew up and it live about 50,000 people here. I've been playing handball for about 10 years and from that I have learned how to work as a person in a group, to allways do my best and how to lead a group of children, and of course a lot more. For the last three years I've been training handboll about 12 hours a week(so I have a lot of energy!) but I studdied economics in school as well and graduated in June. I have had my own apartment for three years now and I am very used to do housework so I am absolutly willing to do that if it's requierd. I really like to travel(my motto in life is like: most visited countries before you die win!) and have visited several countries in Europe(never USA though). But my favorite country is Thailand. Have been there twice and last winther I and my friend Nathalie went traveling in Thailand for four weeks. We saved money for half a year and booked an air ticket and visited several islands in the south of Thailand. The trip made me grow as a person and it was such an experience meeting new people and different cultures. I would describe myself as caring, reliable and easy going. I am used to take care of my younger brother and cousins. When I was younger I was responsible for him(gave him food and looked after him) after school until our parents who was working late came home. I have also been taking care of a younger handball team of ten-year-old girls. I have worked as aupair in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for a shorter period and feel like this a work for me. I want to be an au pair because its a great opportunity to learn new things. I want to be fluent in English for example, and I really like to meet new cultures and people. I always do my best in every thing I get involved in and I am always willing to learn new things! This was a little about me, hope you liked what you read and if you want to now more just ask!
