Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Host family! ,My name is Chanokkwan . My nickname is Piano. I'm 22 years old. In my family there are 5 people, my father, my mother, my older brother, my younger sister and me. My father is a teacher, my mother is a nurse, my older brother is a lecturer or psychologist of medicine (he works in other province) and my younger sister is a student. My family love traveling and going to Satantam ( place for practice goodness, pray, control oneself etc. ) I was raised in a wonderful family with lots of care and love. My family is one of my greatest sources of strength and support. My relationship with the family is very well. I live with them since I was a child except when I studies in a university for 4 years. I have just graduated from a university. I graduated a bachelor degree in Social work. I love to be a member of many activities in my university, for example football club, volleyball club and cheer club. I have a good experience of taking care children. I have dealed with a wide age range of children, from newborns to young adults. I have 950 hours of taking care children and I also taking care of my nephew for 1 year. I had experiences of taking care children when I study in 3rd years. I had to create activities for children between 6-18 years old for 200 hours, for example brain development activities , ice breaking , assertive training group etc. I also had experiences of taking care children when I graduated from a university ,the children have there age range from 8 months – 6 years for 650 hours, for example help them for taking a bath, changing diapers(nappies) and help them dressed , meals preparing , give them some milk and food , bottle and spoon feeding , telling a story , help them with homework , playing with them , take them to playground , putting children to bed etc. I used to be a tutor for 100 hours. I can teach kids to read , listen , speak and write in thai , English and other activities with patient and show good understanding with children. And I also taking care of my nephew when his mother not around for 1 year , for example help him with homework , meals preparing , give him some food , playing with him , support him to show activities etc. I love children. I have a good time when I live with them. I will be happy when he/she grows to be a good adult. I even like to learn children new things and be like a big sister to them, I want to be that person who is like a family member and help your children and learn them things. Read for them and have fun with the children and I will give medicine to them at time of sick. I like listening music, reading cartoon book, playing internet, swimming and cooking. I consider myself as patience, honest, kindly, easy going, flexible person, caring and polite person. I love children, I want to learn more about your country, learn new cultural, get new experience and practice English communication skill. I have enough experience in taking care of children. I would like to be part of your family, If you gave me the opportunity stay with your family, and treat your children as my own I do my very best to give my knowledge and as I can to take care of them.
