Au Pair's Message to Families

My name is Leandro and through this letter I will try to be as objective as I can to show you a little bit about me, my family, my experience with children, and my personality. I hope this letter can help you to decide if I am the right person to be with your family during one year or more. I consider myself a very optimistic and enthusiastic person. I always try to get the best from life, living each day in the best way I can. I am calm and hardly loose control. I am organized, persistent and when I have an objective, I do not quit until I reach my goal. I will summarize my hobbies and what I like to do: Sports- gymnastic, soccer, tennis, judo, jiu-jitsu, wakeboarding, arrow and bow; Music– I play drums and guitar. I play drums in a rock band and we are planning to record our first CD; others interests- I like all circus activities and perform a little bit of all: magic, stilt walking, juggling, fire breathing and clown. As I love to be around children and I am always playing with them, my aunt asked me to be the godfather of her son, “Rafael”. Nowadays he is 5 years old and when he is with me, we play soccer, I make magic for him, etc. I love him very much and we have great moments together. Whenever I can I get him and we spend the day together. Besides those experiences, I have a professional experience taking care of children as I work on weekends and during school vacation at Atiba. Why I want to be an au pair... My objective traveling abroad is to improve my English and to know a new culture. After I had evaluated several options, I concluded that the “au pair” is the best way, as I will be able to join the opportunity to live with an American family and to study, and to compensate I will do my best to help you with your children, that is something that really I like to do.
