Nanny's Message to Families

Hello! Thanks for looking at my profile. My name is Tamara and I am 24 years old and currently a fulltime nanny. I am easy going and fun loving. Very easy to get along with. I love photography, animals, meeting new people, and exploring new places. I believe very strongly in treating others (including our earth) with kindness while striving at all times to live your best, most fulfilling life. I am looking for a family who truly lives life and loves to laugh. A sense of humour is very important to me. I suppose that ultimately, I just want to be trusted, respected and treated like a trusted friend. At this point I am open to families from all parts of western europe, as I believe that you need to be open in order to find that 'perfect fit'. I have lived in The Netherlands and Germany before and enjoyed it immensely, and would love to be back in Europe to explore more. Switzerland, perhaps because it is so central? Who knows! My childcare experience is extensive and varied. I have been working as a nanny/au pair for the past 5 years.. and I have taken care of children aged anywhere from newborn to 8 years old. Currently the children I look after are 2 and 5 years. Absolutely precious children who I love dearly. I definitely feel like my incredible first hand experience and great references set me apart from the average applicant. As you might have noticed, I am only available for a few months. When I younger I was able to commit to a full year abroad. However, I am older now with other commitments (including student loan debts) and unfortunately I cannot set aside that amount of time. I completely understand how difficult it can be for children to bond with someone only to have them leave a short while later. However, I feel certain that this arrangement could work favorably for a family who were, for example, looking for just some summer-time help while the children are out of school.
