| In the summer, we spend alot of time at the lake camping, swimming, kayaking, and boating. Au Pair should not be afraid of water. In the winter, we ski and sometimes ice fish. Our winters are cold (can be -35C ) and long and there is limited outside activities you can do. Please keep that in mind when applying.
Our son is 9 and has alot of energy. Au pair must have alot of patience in dealing with a strong willed child without using negative inforcements. He prefers activities and crafts over sports.
The town we live in is small - 1000 people. There is a lake here, walking trails, golf course, ice skating arena and agricultural grounds (horses, rodeo, etc) Stores are within walking distance. We do travel to the city about once a week.
We also have 5 cats and 1 dog (incase of allergies). Please do not apply if you do not like to care for pets. They are a part of the family :)
Proper visas and immigration papers into Canada must not take longer than 6 months. |
