Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are looking for a fun-loving au-pair with plenty of energy and imagination but who is confident enough to discipline our two girls when needed. Ideally we would like to have someone with some previous experience. The au-pair should hold a drivers licence (since at least 2 years). We would like you to help out with meals for the children and light housework. I am based at home and am looking for someone who can help me look after the girls and free up some of my time. We don't expect you to take care of the children all day long however we would like you to babysit two evenings per week. We are sure that you will have plenty of time to get out and meet other people, take a language course and make the most of this beautiful setting.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are a dual nationality family (English / French) living in France just 20 minutes from Geneva and 30 minutes from the ski-slopes. We have two gorgeous girls, Maya who is 4 and goes to school, and Anouk who is 15 months. Dan is French and works in Geneva, I am English and am currently based at home working on my own venture. We love having the benefits of the country life with the advantages of a big city nearby. In the winter we go skiing and in the summer we make the most of the beautiful countryside to go walking or swimming. Whilst the town we live in is small, there is a regular bus service into Geneva where you can find great shopping and entertainment. We also have a large choice of language schools nearby. We are really looking forward to having an au-pair to stay with us and will enjoy welcoming you into our family and learning about your culture. Maya is excited at the prospect of someone to play with - she loves art, music and - most of all - imaginative play.
