Au Pair's Message to Families

Looking for a family ASAP Dear host family,I know you are getting a lot of applications at the moment and you have the difficult task to make a decision and choose the right Aupair for you but you have to know that I really appreciate the opportunity to become a part of your family and that you might confide your children to me! I know your choice must be taken thoughtfully because you only want the best for your children and so do I. I think I'm the right person for you as I'm very friendly and patient. Aditionally I think I can integrate very well in your family and also be an enrichment for your whole family I knew that I wanted to spend a year abroad as an Au Pair after school so I already did some practical training in several institutions where I worked with children of almost all ages! I really enjoyed this time and I definetly love to be there for children and have fun with them! Furthermore it makes me happy making them smile when i play with them and it is just great to contribute to the development of children! After this year i want to become a teacher for English and French. I'm a very cheerful person who is friendly, patient and can integrate in your familiy very well! I love to do any kind of sport.I'm also a reasonable person who you can definetly confide your children to! I want to be a big sister and friend for your children as well as a part of your family! I'm very open-minded and really like to get to know your country and the american culture as it has been my dream since I was little! I hope we will get to know each other:-) My childcare experience: I worked in a children's home in May 2008 for 12 days with 9 hours per day! We(me together with an educator) had a lot of fun with the children and went swimming, played minigolf but also cooked for the children, helped them with their homework and brought them to bed! I did also an internship at a daycare center in June 2008 for 20 days with 6 hours per day. I helped the children with their homework and played afterwards with them! Another practical training was also in a daycare center where mothers can leave their children in a group to have time for themselves!I worked there in May2008 for 15 days with 7 hours per day! I also worked there with handicapped children which was a great experience! Besides I gave teaching lessons in english until recently for about a year!
