THE AUPAIR : I expect someone very responsible and reliable but also friendly, cheerful, sincere, open-minded, joyful,patient, pro-active possibly loving sport or musicmeone who can be patient with children but willing also to teach them new things and follow them in the process of learning, playing and sharing. Someone who has also other interests in life and is willing to study at the same time or persue other interests,(i'm sure Lugano can offer a lot, there are few universities here aswell)) Bye for now.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear Aupair, We are a multilingual familiy ...we just moved during the summer from Italy to Lugano in Switzerland...if you are patient and like children, if you are looking for a "responsible" job and want to learn at the same time something new about the italian/swiss culture may be this is the right place. Children are at school till 4pm (unless ill and in wednseday till 1 pm) .. time for other interests, other studies and learning italian or other languages of the Canton Ticino (french, german). THE MUM I'm a separated full-time working mum with two children, 6 and 9 years old. I can communicate in italian, german, french and english and a bit of dutch , I work as a lawyer . School starts 1st september...help! THE CHILDREN :My daughter followed an international school in english but is now switching to an italian school in Lugano , my son just turned 6 , followed same school. Being now in a italian environment even if it is Switzerland (one hour away from Milano) I would not like my children to loose their english therefore I'm looking for someone who is an english native speaker or who has excellent english skills.Experience and excellent references are a must!
