| My name is Elaine and I need help our crazy house is too much for me to handle. I am British and my husband is Egyptian. We are Muslim and I wear a scarf but don't let that fool you. Whatever your perception of a Muslim household, I am sure we will change your mind for the better!
Our current lovely au pair's visa finishes in October so I am now looking for somebody equally lovely to take her place!
Our house is full of fun and laughter, the children attend the local school where they are all top of their respective classes.
I am a caterer and sell delicious Egyptian food at outdoor events and food markets. I am also about to open a cafe and that will take a lot of my time.
My husband works long hours as a dental surgeon. I do not go out at night but I work odd hours as a caterer.
I am looking for somebody who will very quickly become a good friend and a 'big sister' for my boys. We also have a pregnant cat and a big lazy labrador dog called Bobby who would love to go for walks in the park near the house if you would be comfortable with him.
We live in Swiss Cottage near central London; the area is very pleasant and there are beautiful parks near to us. The transport links are excelent and Camden Town with its markets and amazing atmosphere is a 15 minute walk away.
I am looking for a mature responsible girl who will be happy to take my place in the home when I am at work. I need help in the house and with the two youngest children. I would not expect you to do anything that I would not do myself, but do what I would do if I were there.
With regards to the housework, I need help with the laundry (not ironing) cleaning, dusting, changing beds, washing the kitchen floor etc. I cannot emphasis enough the fact that I am searching for somebody to really feel part of the family and feel comfortable in the chaos created by 4 young boys, and a very naughty young lady.
Although there are certain duties to be taken care of, I have a very flexible attitude and appreciate the fact that some people feel more comfortable sticking to a set time table and defined roles; with 5 children, that doesn't work for me so flexibility on both sides is essential.
We are used to having people stay with us and have had many au-pairs most of whom have stayed longer than they intended and many are still in contact with us. You will be well looked after and treated with respect at all times.
It is important for the stability of the children that you should stay for at least a year if not longer. Please do not apply if you are looking for a short-term placement.
I really do need to organise some help so, if you think that you are the right person to complete our household, please get in touch as soon as possible,
Hoping to speak to you soon,
Elaine |
