| Hi, are you seeking for an experienced Au Pair, one who is fun and serious, reliable, who knows how to deal with this kind of great experience, how to fit smoothly into one's family, who loves interacting with children and share cultures? Then you're done, there I am.
My name is Floriane, I am 21 and I have been an aupair in the USA for 1 year. I have my high school diploma specialized in litterature, I have my driver license from France and from California, I had 2 days of First-Aid training, I can swim and I have a lot of experience with children from age 0 to 13. I am distance learning for a diploma and so I would need to take care of school-aged children, so that I may have my mornings free to study (but as long as I have time to study, I don't really mind the age).
But let's talk about the main thing we're about: children. Well, I can say I always had a soft spot for children since my mother was a nanny when I was myself a child. Even when I was only 7 or so, I would help my mother and make cuddles to the babies she was looking after. Afterwards, my mother was pregnant for the 4th time (yes we are a big family and therefore I know how hard it can be to deal with lot of children and the kind of relationships there can be between brothers/sisters), I was 14 and from then on, I have been the only nanny of my brother, so I know how to prepare bottles, to change diapers, to interact with toddlers, to immerse in their little world and so on, I know everything you must know when you have a child, I often felt myself to be sort of a second little mother to him.
I've also gained a good experience from my babysittings with children from 7 to 11, and I have been an Au Pair for a 13 year-old-girl, and I've had such a perfect time there that I want to restart it with another family. Thus, I can say I have always been surrounded by children and love being with them but overall, to interact with them, to sing, to go out to the park, to teach them, to see them growing, to be by their side in the discovering of life and all their experiences. People often tell me that I have a very maternal side because when I go somewhere, children come to me in such a natural way, I seem to attract them. But I am sure it's because they feel I have a great deal of love to give them, and so do they.
Now a little bit more about my hobbies: I like reading, writing, dancing, horseback ridding, skiing, swimming, cinema, theatre, and all that can make me smile. I am fond of animals and nature, but I am used to living both in the city and the country, I am very easy to adapt. I know how to deal with everyday life when it's not always a good day, to find a positive thing even in the bad ones, to enjoy everithing I can, I love to please the ones I love, I am kind, smiling, reliable, flexible, mature, and love-giver. I can cook and help in the house like I would do in my own like loading/unloading the diswasher, set the table, clean-up my room and the children's one, do the laundry, vaccum once in a while, and in special occasion you can calways count on me. I know that if I give my best (what I always do), so will you.
I shall be ready for a depart from January 2009 and for a period from 3 to 6 months. If you need to know anything esle, just ask, it will be my pleasure to ensure everything between us is clear. Hope to hear from you soon. Regards. |
