Au Pair/Nanny job description

As a Swiss-American family we are searching for an au pair to care for our children. Our children are twin boy and girl aged 3 and a 2 year old girl. Primary responsibility is taking care of our children while the mother is working for 2 full days a week and 1 afternoon. Light housework is a secondary responsibility and includes small tasks such as emptying the dishwasher, doing a load of laundry, and a weekly general cleanup – things you would do as a member of a family. Currently the father is an American employed 100% in a small Swiss company requiring approximately 20% travel abroad. The mother is Swiss and has recently returned to work at a position requiring 20 hours per week outside of the home. These work days are Monday and Wednesday.
