Au Pair's Message to Families

Hi! My name is Nina and I am a 22-year-old girl originally from Helsinki, Finland. I have been an au pair before in the states in 2005-2006 in Delaware and I enjoed the experience so much! I took care of 5 children there, 3 year-old twins (boy and girl), 10-year-old boy and 13-year-old twins (both girls), a dog and and a cat. This year I have been in London, England, taking care of a 2-year-old girl for 6 months and an 18-month old boy for one month. All these have been sole charge. At the moment I am visiting my old hostfamily in the states until the end of November:)After my time in London, I went to visit my formr hostfamily in the states for 3 months and in January, I will be going to the Channel Islands to be an au pair for 6 months:) I am looking to start in July/August 2009. I love doing arts and crafts and music. I am very good at drawing and singing:) I also like to take the children outdoors and keep them active by playing games and running around in the park. I am a vegeterian, but I eat fish. I dont mind if other people eat meat though, my other hostfamilies did and I just crabbed what I could from the table:) Other destinations than my preferred cities are of course welcome, so dont be shy:) I want to go through CULTURAL CARE AU PAIR, since I was with them before and only from them I can get a visa to go for another time. Please note that I dont drive, but I did manage to get around the last time (and at the moment) and I am fine with not having a car:) I am not a member here, but if you are, just anwser yes when I add you to my hotlist and I will write you an email.
