Au Pair/Nanny job description

Duties will include getting ready and taking children to nearby school which is 10 minutes walk from our house at 8.30 am ,fetching them from school in the afternoon at 3.30 pm,taking them for after school activities,-giving them tea,playing with them ,helping with the older one's school work-help at dinnertime . General housework and some help with cooking The job is 25-30 hours a week plus occasional evening babysitting. Very limited weekend hours

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are looking for someone who we can trust to take care of our family whilst we are at work . We will welcome you as part of our family and feel it is important that you are happy whilst you are with us. There are many facilities locally both educational and recreational. We are looking for someone who can build a good relationship with our 2 children so that they are happy . We are doctors of Indian origin settled in Britain and are working in the National Health Service. We have two sons Thomas 8 and Terry 3 . We live in a 4 bedroom detached house in a quiet area in the city of Cardiff, capital of Wales.We have parks,leisure centre,library ,train station and bus stop at walking distance from our homeere are schools to learn English in Cardiff city .We are a friendly family ,eat a mix of veg and non veg. None of us have any allergies.You can have our food or cook your own food if you wish so. Thomas is in year 3 and becomes chatty if he finds the right person,he loves reading ,drawing and plays the piano. Terri loves watching cartoons and imitates his brother whenever he can. They both enjoy going to park and would love if they get the right person to play with them We expect our aupair to be friendly, responsible and reliable. We are a simple family and would like to have another person like a family member who we can trust.We encourage people in their endevours when we see the effort to contribute from their side .
