Au Pair/Nanny job description

Nanny: Must already be living in the United States and not have any visa issues. Looking for someone to watch our 5 month old son: EITHER: IF LIVE-IN POSITION - we would need you anywhere from 1-5 days during the work week. Typically only 2-3 days a week. Would be dependant on husband's work schedule. We would pay you as if full days - regardless. Own bedroom would be provided. Bathroom would be shared with 2 other sons (ages 7 and 8) when they are here (50% of time spent with mom and 50% time spent with dad). or: Live-out position - in our home - pay negotiable. You would always have your weekends off, as well as evenings after 7:00 p.m. (latest)(most of the evenings I'm home by 5:30 p.m.), and at least 2 days off during the week. Pay= $125-150/wk. with full room and board - including internet, cable, food, etc. Possibility to earn more money if you wanted - cleaning, laundry, transportation of kids - NOT required - only if desired.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We like to travel and do fun things such as snowmobiling, skiing and snowboarding, running and biking and playing guitar. I'm 32 yrs. old and work as a paralegal. Husband is 41 yrs. old and works as a paramedic. Had live-in and live-out nanny(s) for my other two sons - ages 7 & 8 - when they were little. Had great experiences! Two of our summer nannies from out of state - actually ended up moving to Colorado following their stays with us. One of which - her entire family - sister and parents - also moved out here! Needless to say, Colorado is a great place to live. I moved to Colorado from Indiana in 2001 and plan to never leave. My husband moved here around the same time - originally from Texas, and also spent a few years in Seattle. My 2 other sons are with us 50% of the time. 2 days during the week and every other weekend. I 50/50 share with their dad. But we are ONLY looking for a nanny to watch our baby boy during the week when we are both away at work. My husband works 12 and 24 hour shifts and the days of week vary - including weekends. You would only be needed during the week - NO weekends regardless. We have one dog - a German Shorthaired Pointer named Paws. About 3 yrs old and loves everyone. He is a house dog but goes into the backyard often. Only in his crate when noone is home and weather is bad. Sleeps with our oldest son. Can't wait to find the "perfect" nanny again!
