hello, my name is stephanie. i have been a nanny for 7 years and before that worked in daycare centers for 2 yers. i have a resume and references upon request. i love my job as a nanny. it allows me to form trusting relationships with the children and give them more one on one attention. i grew up in a huge family with four younger brothers.. i know how to play cars and trucks and sports. lol!! aslo while im watching the children i like to do arts and crafts, learning activities, dress up, dolls, sports, walks, go on outings such as the zoo, waterparks, librarys, parks. with smaller children and babies i am down on the floor with them doing tummy time, singing, stacking blocks, rolling balls, abc, 123. i try to make the day fun and eventfull all while making sure the children are safe. as far as disipline goes, i do alot of redirecting. i try not to use the word "no" all the time. i will tell them why they cant do something and also what they can do. Ex: lets not run in the house, we could fall and break something. lets go out side and have races. i am a very open and honest person. communication is a huge part on both me and the parents to make the job run smooth. All in all, when im watching a child i want the parents to know that they are in good hands, and will have fun. i
