Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello Moms and Dads :) I know how important it is to choose the right care-giver. I have worked with several families through the years and consider myself lucky to become a part of each family. I am the oldest of four daughters, so taking care of children has always been natural for me. I adore the curiosity and imagination that children bring to the world! By engaging them through play any job can be fun! But I know children need more than just a friend, they need a role-model who knows how to set limits and allow them to thrive in a safe, structured and nurturing environment. I am flexible with my working hours, seeing the role of the au pair more like that of a big sister, always there to help out. That being said, I would like time to take courses myself, perhaps when the kids are in school.
