| I love children and have talent for making them laugh and smile. I am attentive and sensitive to their needs as well as to the expectations of their parents. I try hard to never overstep the bounds of the parent-child relationship which includes the rules set by the parents. I draw and do some painting, so I enjoy these activities most with young children. Beading, bookmaking, listening to music and cooking are also hobbies of mine. I love long walks and enjoy spending whole afternoons at the park. Reading is another favorite past-time of mine as well as reading to or along with a young friend!
I am not afraid of hard work or pets, although I have a slight allergy to cats. I am a vegetarian, but do not insist my host family be vegetarians, nor do I intend to frown upon meat-eating families. I would, however, hope to not prepare meat dishes for those in my care. (I am an excellent vegetarian cook!) My salary is negotiable according to live-in/out status and hours needed of me, as well as, household duties expected of me.
I have chosen Japan, and Tokyo, specifically because I have an urge to immerse myself in that culture. With my time off I hope to learn anything I can about the language and, hopefully, where my family originated. I am currently trying very hard to learn some Japanese on my own, but will know little in the way of conversation when I arrive.
I hope you can find a place for me in your home. I look forward to having fun with your little one! |
