Au Pair's Message to Families

I am looking to become a part of your family and experience your city's culture! I am willing to go to any country, but prefer Italy or Switzerland(I have been to both). I can speak French conversationally, and am currently learning Italian. I currently have a very well paying full-time job so I currently don't do any babysitting jobs. I graduated from The Ohio State University in June 08. Here's a list of my childcare experience: Aug 07-Jan 08: tutor for a 6 year old boy 3 days a week after school. Aug 06-June 07: afterschool babysitter for 2 kids(age 4 and 7) June 06-Sept 06: nanny for 2 boys ages 7 and 9. June 04-Sept 04 & June 05-Sept 05: full-time summer nanny for the same family with one child. From 2003-2005 I was a preschool religious education teacher at my church for 3 year olds. For the past 3 years, I have 3 other families I was babysitting regularly a few times a month- each with 1-3 kids- ages ranging from 1-12 years old.I'm fun and energetic and enjoy reading, cooking, taking bike rides, walking, and swimming. I don't like watching tv. I enjoy spending my day outdoors, especially coastal areas. I like taking kids on field trips to zoos, sporting events, and waterparks. I am also an early riser- I will wake up between 7-8 am with no alarm on most days! I love traveling and wish to see many places in the world. I hope to hear from you soon:)
