Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are looking for someone that can give our children more organized instruction in english. It would be great if you have experience in the classroom setting, or you have taken any ESL courses. Your schedule would be to work from Monday to Friday. It would be about 7 or 8 hours a day. Saturdays. As far as housework goes, we have someone that comes and does the housework for us. However, we would like it if you can help out as a member of the family around the house. That means maybe helping with dinner if I am unable to do it for some reason and includes helping the kids keep their playroom tidy and cleaning up after their baths etc. We are a very tidy family, and you must be a tidy person as well, because for me, it is very very important. It is just part of how our family is, that we like things in order.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Hi from Granada: We are looking for an au pair to stay at least six months so our children can have a close and stable relationship with her. It´s important to us that she comes from a family where she is used to being around children, because we want her to be used to being part of a family with children. Also important is that she be able and have a desire to integrate herself into a new culture. The main reason that we are looking for an au pair is to help our children learn English. They have one fluent speaker in the home, but we are now looking for someone who will do more than merely practice speaking with them. Of utmost importance is that you speak fluent english, however you will need some knowledge of Spanish as well as the children are not fluent. However, it is not necessary that you speak Spanish with the children, because the more they speak with you in english, the more they learn, but at times to understand them more fully it would be helpful. We are an outgoing family with two children in beautiful southern Spain, and we are looking for a loving and responsible aupair to become a member of our family. We would love to learn things from you, and be able to share our family and ways with you. Our children are very warm and fun, and enjoy meeting new people. Lucia is 8 and loves to spend time drawing, playing games, and dressing up. Kiki is 5 and loves anything to do with noise, and that is boyish. Like trucks, planes, mountain biking etc. They both love music and to sing. We love to spend time getting together with friends and on the weekends going to the beach, where we now have a house that we enjoy spending more relaxing weekends in. If you are thinking about coming to live with us in the summer, this is where we will probably be spending a lot of time! With two small kids and a two busy parents there is always a lot going on!
