Au Pair job description

Ideally she will be responsible, trustworthy, caring and fun. We like the children to be entertained mentally and physically so some creativity is a plus. She can have use of a car so a drivers license would be useful but not essential. Some light housework is required but essentially related to the children. Occasional evening babysitting if needed.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Dear Au pair Our current au pair has recently left us to continue with her career and we are urgently looking for the right person to start immediately. We are a 39/40 year old British/South African couple with two lovely boys aged 13 months and 3 years. We live just outside of Antibes which is close to Nice and Cannes with Monaco a little further away. We have a house with swimming pool and small garden. Our 3 year old has just started school for 4 days a week. He loves reading, painting and riding his bicycle and is mad about cars. Our 1 year old is a real character. Tough, very sociable and smiles a lot. No real interests yet other than eating and sleeping. Neither children have been very demanding as babies go and cry very little though the elder one has just gone through a "testing" phase. As parents we like the children to keep active and have creative fun with as little TV as possible. We are trying to teach them good values and behaviour.
