| Hello,
I am Oni, a 24 year-old thai girl who is working as an Au Pair in the US in the first year's term. I am taking care a baby right now and everything is going pretty good because the family i stay with they are very nice to me. I have childcare experience is more than 2 years, and I have GREAT experiences with under 2 years old kids more than 1,000 hours. *** I registered with an Au Pair agency in USA ***
For my background: I was graduated with Bachelor degree of Arts, majored in English so I can speak English in a good level I think I don't have any problem about communication. I can speak Thai, English and a little bit Japanese. Now I am learning Spanish for being my forth language. My Hobbies are kniiting, listening to the music, and travelling especially I love travelling to the beaches.
For my driving: my driving experience is more than 1 year, I have an international driver license. I don't have a car and a state driver license.
For my abilities: I can teach their homework, teach them to make crafts, and take them to the park, musuem, shopping mall, supermarket, and library. If the children like swimming, I can also swimming so I can look after them in swimming pools. Anyway, I can cook pancake, maccarori soup, some of thai food.
For my childcare experiences: Before I come to the US. I did a part-time job as a babysitter. I looked after a 2.3 years old boy for a family’s in Bangkok. My duties were playing with the boy, bathing, sometimes going shopping, preparing & feeding baby’s food & juice, telling fairly tales, changing diapers and etc. The boy made me like this job because he liked me so much, we enjoyed playing together and his parents were very kind and polite to me.
Then I helped my neighbor to look after their kid. I have been their helper, play with the boy, feed, generally look after him and sometimes bringing him to bed. I have looked after him since he was 5 months old. I looked after him almost evreyday when I had freetime and some weekend. Now he is 2.3 years old I still look after him sometimes, he is a very strong boy. In February 2008, I had a formal training at the Paninun Nursery. I looked after the children were under 2 years old. The youngest I looked after, she was only 2 months old. My duties were bathing, shampooing, changing diapers, preparing & feeding baby’s food & juice, cleaning & sterilizing milk bottles, entertaining children by playing singing stories telling and etc. I have trained at the nursery for one month but I got much new knowledge from here and I impressed teachers and nannies here, they were so friendly and kind and the children were so cute. Also I attended a First Aid & CPR course from the nursery.
This is my first year, if I have a chance, I would like to stay another place in my the second year and meet a very nice family like this also.
Best Regards, Oni |
