My name is Devynn and I am 25 years old. I condsider myself to be a childcare extraordinare ;) For fun I like to draw, listen to music (i'm always on the search for my newest favorite musician), read, watch movies, shop, snowboard, go boating, go camping, TRAVEL, and eat ice cream ;). As far as personality goes I think that I am generous, loyal, responsible, a little shy, a bit of an introvert at times, creative, patient and always willing to go the extra mile to make those around me happy. You can find out more about my personality from my references as welle it's kind of hard to judge myself! :)
Anyway, I have been working in the childcare field (daycares, preschools, nanny, au-pair) since July of 2001 (jeez, the time flies!). I feel I have LOTS of experience!! I am first aid and CPR certified. I have also had training in various other topics such as blood bourne pathogens and SIDS prevention.
As your nanny I will become your childs newest best friend ;) I will engage them in fun age appropriate learning activities. I will do LOTS of arts and crafts projects with them (you can expect a collage of art on your refridgerator). We will read lots of books and go for lots of fun outings. I will arrange playdates and help your children to socialize. Also, I am a very tidy/organized person so doing housework isn't a problem at all...I know it sounds weird but I actually enjoy cleaning! I still keep in contact with many of the kids I have worked with in the past. I would be happy to provide you with these references. A good match for me would be a family that is laid back, honest, with a sense of humor! :)
My current situation: I am in the Netherlands, as an au-pair. My current host family is expecting an au-pair to arrive in January, and I am with them temporarily until the new one comes.
I am looking for a live in position that starts in January or February at the latest. Possibly December. Thank you for your time :) |
