Au Pair/Nanny job description

Live in Nanny/Au Pair for energetic toddler of Single Parent. Nanny/AP required to provide quality child care while parent is at work. My work hours are generally consistent but may occasionally require last minute overtime or weekends so I need someone flexible. "Light Housework" consists of cleaning any messes made by you or the child and cooking meals for child (and yourself) when I am not there. You will be allowed to use phone/internet and watch television during personal time (i.e. when you are off duty). Child is on a basic set schedule which will be provided upon hire (wakes up at 8 am, lunch at 11a etc). Basic requirements would be to keep child engaged, entertained and fed while parent is at work. I will provide food, room and board to nanny/au pair. Vacation time included. First aid/CPR trained. Multiple languages encouraged. References a must.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear Au Pair, Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. I have a very beautiful, sweet, fun and energetic toddler who would love to meet you! She is currently in daycare but with the high demands of the caregivers and only 2 caregivers to go around 8 children I feel a more personal approach will benefit her. I only have one car that I have to use for work but if you have a car and want to go somewhere we could work something out upon hire. Also her daily schedule is rather flexible but I would like to keep her on one (no getting up at noon). I have listed Other as my religion because I could not find Christian Non-Denominational...I am open to learning about other cultures and religions and am more than happy to give you appropraite time off to explore yours. I also have plans to sign my daughter up for a dance class (but I do not have specific information for one yet).
