Au Pair job description

We would like you to drive the children to different activities, sport and music lessons (with the car, in summer by good weather with the bike) Help with the housework (we have a cleaner) and speak only english with the children - read with them and help teach them reading and writing in english. With the youngest going for a walk and play with her.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Dear Au pair, we are looking for an new aupair in september 2009. (We found a nice girl for 2008) We have 4 children but don´t worry most of the time you will be together only with one of them. We have a girl aged 13 (she doesn´t need an aupair any more but maybe you could be a good girl friend to her) and two boys 12 and 10, who all go to school and the small one - a girl aged 3. Most of the time you have to look after only one child especially the youngest one. The older ones need a "taxi driver" and an "english teacher". For the moment I (47) work not. I am a surgeon and a homeopathic doctor. I have my own homeopathic practice. My Husband (41) is a chartered surveyor. We live 20 km East of Munich. Our village has a direct localt train connection to Munich every 10 minutes. This train connection allows you to be downtown Munich within approx. 20 minutes. We live in our own house with a big garden. Within our house we have one-room appartemnet (25 qm, bathroom, separate entrance) for our aupair. In our free time we like to spend the days as much as possible with our kids. Our hobbies include biking, hiking, skiing, dancing and playing musical instruments (we have a piano in our house). As a lot of driving is required it is necessary that you have a drivers license. We have had 12 aupairs to date, all of whom have enjoyed their time with us, and whom we are still in contact with. If you would like we would be able to provide you with some. You will have no problems to find friends, here around there are many aupairs. We have also in the next village language classes nearly all levels. Our aupair is an additional member of our family, you should feel comfortable with us and we would like to laugh with you.
